<p>What kind of activity should there be? My understanding is that they acknowledge receipt of your materials, give you a pin, you make sure nothing is missing, and then we wait to hear. What else is supposed to happen?</p>
<p>Someone told me they got in but I don’t think admissions decisions are out yet?</p>
<p>That’s odd. From last year’s ED thread, the applicant checklist closed on December 1st and told applicants to check back on the 9th for their decision. This is why I’m concerned. Perhaps they have a new system/method this year relating to CA4.</p>

<p>And Siriii, I did have an interview. Luckily, the interviewer they assigned me got in touch right away, and I met with her on November 21st. It was such an incredible experience!!! I would recommend calling the admissions office and asking them directly if you could have an alumni interview. I’ve called several times for various reasons, and they’re always very nice!</p>
<p>I so hope that we will know early next week! I can’t take it any longer. Does anyone find it odd that this thread is so inactive compare to the one last year? Maybe there was a large drop in the amount of ED applicants this year?</p>
<p>Hey Emilyr, I actually got a call from an alum last night. Both she and the office profusely apologized for taking so long. I actually was able to set one up for tomorrow so I’m super excited for that!</p>
<p>On the topic of notification dates, I am also super nervous/excited/worried. I know that transfer decisions are supposed to come out on the 11th so that may be when ours come out too?? I’m so nervous I keep checking my email literally every 5 minutes to see if they’ve announced the date yet.</p>
<p>And I was just thinking that, nadelman! It seems like at this time last year there were a lot more participants and posts…</p>

<p>Thought I’d pipe up; I also applied to Vassar ED1. I have a 3.9/4.0 - 5.6/6.0, 2190, and a small collection of recognized artworks in an otherwise expansive art portfolio (+ some extracurricular activity, but not much). I’m interested in studying film + studio art/physics at Vassar. All of your stats are making me nervous! Congratulations on all of your accomplishments thus far. May we all receive thick envelopes next week :3 </p>

<p>Were we supposed to submit our first quarter grades to admissions? Reading these threads is making me second guess myself… I withheld mine because the applicants’ site says to submit “MID YEAR GRADES,” and I interpreted that to mean 1st + 2nd quarter’s (when they come out). </p>
<p>I’ll probably call admissions tomorrow. I hope I didn’t misread the memo.</p>
<p>I submitted mine only because they were available and it was easier to just include them so they’d see the consistency in my grades. They probably would have contacted you by now if they needed your first quarter grades, but it certainly doesn’t hurt to call.</p>

<p>I asked a current Vassar student yesterday. Last year, he applied ED and he said he didn’t receive the interview and no other emails. He just checked his myapp status on 12.10 and saw the decision was out… even the admission email was sent later. So, we just need to wait

<p>Ahhhh!!! I’m so nervous!! I hope by close of business they mean 5 pm because I have a band concert at 7 that night and if they’re released at 6:55 like last year I’ll go crazy… I don’t know if I could wait 2 hours to check but I also don’t want to not get in and have to sit on a stage in front of people for two hours and try to hide my disappointment…</p>
