Early Decision Recommendations

I’m thinking about doing Early Decision to a school in the fall, but am unsure which. I understand that Early Decision is binding and it’s only one school, but am looking to do it in order to up my chances of getting in somewhere. Some schools I’ve thought about EDing to are:
Colby College
Bowdoin College
Bates College
Middlebury College
Colgate
WashU

Intended Major: Business/Economics
STATS: SAT; 1380 700M 680CRW, No subject tests,
GPA: 3.7 UW (one of the top public school in the country, known for rigor, taken hardest classes offered at school)
Essay: Still in the process of writing it but very unique topic.

EC’s: Interned at Fortune 500 Company,
Interned at High-end PR Firm,
Interned at Nationally Recognized Museum,
President of Best Buddies Chapter,
Started a Social Media Marketing Agency and amassed 700K social media followers for companies.
Then some minor EC’s like swim team and school store etc

Please let me know if it’s even worth applying ED to these schools, and if I should pursue anything or just EA/RD to schools of lower prestige

Are finances not an issue? I’m assuming not.

Check last year’s ED accept rates for each school. This year’s If the info and breakdowns between ED and RD available. Also check what the upper 25% is in test scores and grades(UW Gpa). Usually, if you are within that category, ED could be the tip to get you accepted.

ED is for those applicants who decide that a school is an absolute first choice. It has morphed into getting into the most selective school to which a student can get accepted. So inquiries like yours, listing schools, asking to “which one should I apply” crop up.

Your test scores and UW GPA might point you to the school from your list. Most of them do not have much in the way of Business courses though they all do have Econ. At a glance, Id go with Colgate, but you need to do the research to present a compelling application for admissions
