@bmoreboy30 What were your stats??
Yay! So exciting- daughter recv’d her YES envelope, tonight, by the time our mail arrived.
She’s out now ( No school tomorrow). Can’t wait for her to get home to open her envelope!!
We are OOS- VA.
@fall2018 What major was she applying for and what were her stats?
My daughter was accepted today! Louisiana
@pbmcdoug
4.46, 1350, and 29. Good, but not great test scores so I’m slightly surprised to have gotten a letter so early. Maybe rest of my app pulled me up but I’ve heard that this first batch of letter is strictly stats… Other acceptances soon to follow.
@pbmcdoug, I bet today will be your day–you’re just a few states further away than the rest of us so far!
Stats- OOS, 1350, 4.4, NHS (among others), undecided. Applied by 9/15.
@g8rmomk8ans Thank you!! I will be waiting for the mail anxiously today!
Daughter got her Yes envelope last night! We are OOS Alabama.
daughter’s YES arrived yesterday.
OOS NC - applied early Oct. Received tuition reduction + scholarship (min $82k over 4 yrs)
33 ACT 5.1 wtd GPA (3.9 uw) engineering major
D received her acceptance Monday with $39K scholarship. I’m a bit disappointed as I thought her stats would qualify her for at least Finn. 4.0 UW GPA (5AP, 14 honors, 7 reg through junior year), 1410 SAT. I’m wondering if we’ll see an increase since we just sent all her SAT scores and the only ones they would have on file prior to last week would be a 1380 SAT and 30 ACT. If not, I don’t see SC remaining in contention given that she’ll qualify for our in-state scholarships that will likely cover full tuition at FSU and UF (pending Governor and state legislature coming to an agreement).
Nursing and stats : Gpa 4.23 & 1370 SAT
Accepted in MA. 4.1 WGPA 31 ACT. Electrical Engineering
Anyone know if this is just one of many early rounds of letters, or will the rest of us have to wait until December to hear back?
@2022collegeapp we are also wondering the same. We are seeing the tweets of USCYES and are getting anxious. Those who have heard back…when were your applications submitted? DD’s application was submitted just before the 10/15 deadline. Seeing the stats of those admitted, it also seems like the “higher stats” were accepted first?
This will be the first round of a few. Last year they sent out three rounds before the December 15th date.
My D applied over the summer so we were not surprised she got her letter on this first round.
Thanks, @g8rmomk8ans and @sbgal2011!
And yes, the higher stats kids get admitted first. If you get deferred to RD, the YES packets start to go out in February, with the higher stat kids hearing first.
Accepted OOS (New Jersey)
ACT: 29
GPA: 3.92
