@1Neophyte, my daughter, who will be attending the Honors College from out of state (FL), had a 35 ACT. SAT was 1470, which is comparitively low, I believe. She got in-state plus the $4K/year discount. Not sure what her SC-calculated GPA would be, but she’s just shy of 4.0 for high school (and really annoyed she’s running out of runway to get to that, despite fantastic grades her senior year). She wants to go into a STEM field. It looks like the stats noted on the SC website for scholarships will have to be revised upwards.

@VAMom23 I think 3 of the 6 schools that my son applied to superscored both. Not sure why the SAT would be superscored and the ACT not, but here is the list if anyone else is interested.

@lastone03 That is a helpful list. We were told explicitly several times that UVA does not superscore. But it appears that they do, to a degree. They pull the highest subscores, but don’t recalculate a new composite score.
