Early Decision vs. Regular and related issues...

I think it was two days ago that I applied to Pomona, although I checked the "regular decision" box. In the past 5 months, I've read so many rave reviews about the school and have desperately wanted to visit. I have come to conclude that this school has absolutely everything I want in a school except for the guarantee of admission lol. But, I have two questions:

1) I live in PA, so California is all the way across the country. Would it be a big risk applying early decision 2 to Pomona having not visited but taken virtual tours online?

and

2) If it isn't much of a risk, can you change which option you are applying for?

Thanks!!

Feeling comfortable at a school is definitely an important part of deciding where to go. However, (I'm a freshman) I know many people this year from the East Coast who never visited, and they all love it here. If you think that it is definitely your top choice, applying ED may be a good option.

And I'm pretty sure if you call them you can change your application status.

Good luck.
