Early Decision?

Cal Poly SLO is my dream school and they have an Early Decision option when applying. (due Oct. 31st) I was just wondering if it's a good option. If you don't get in during Early Decision you automatically get put in for regular admission.

I think I read somewhere that 22% of those who apply for Early Decision get accepted while 33% or 37% (can't remember) get in during normal admission.
Do you think I have a good chance?

SAT: 1900
M: 690
R: 600
W: 610

ACT: 27
E: 26
M: 28
R: 23
S: 33
Essay: 10

(Both ACT and SAT are first try)

3.67 GPA UW
4.00 GPA W

I'm applying as a Architectural Engineering major.
Also, I realize this could also (or may better be suited) for the "College Chances" section so please don't call me out on it.

Thank you for your opinions and replies.

According to its freshman profile information, it looks like your grades and test scores are close to average for those admitted into the architectural and environmental design college, see <a href=“Cal Poly Admissions”>Cal Poly Admissions; , although architectural engineering likely has an average that is a little higher than shown and closer to that for the engineering college. The architectural and env. design college admitted about 28% of its total applicants. According to USNews, the percent of ED appl;icants admitted ED for the entire university was just under 20%.

You have a good chance of getting in

Thank you both.
The website was really helpful drusba
