Syracuse does not send out any BFA acceptances until March, so I don’t think that would work with Early Decision. You might get an early acceptance to the university, but wouldn’t know if you were accepted to the program. I suggest you call the theater office and ask them directly.

Thanks I was kinda confused but that makes sense!

You actually can do early decision for mt at Syracuse there is a specific audition early in the year for ED applicants, my friend did it. You find out around January I believe.

Does anyone know if anything shows up on your myslice before they send out their decisions? The only thing updated on that has been financial aid…it went from being blank to listing the year and saying the info was not yet available.

No!!! Please, not another school where we all analyze what is on the online site. :)

ActingDad-that’s what happens when the auditions slow down and all we have left is the waiting!!!

I actually can’t recall about MySlice. Last year our son received an email to open a link for his admission decision which then told him he was accepted for BFA MT. I believe last year’s acceptances (even for other majors) mostly if not all came through email - not sure if MySlice showed any confirmation beforehand.

It comes by email in 3 batches about 2 weeks apart. Rejections and acceptances are in all 3 batches. It’s random. I remember this one vividly because my daughter was in the last batch and was waitlisted in late March. Hope this helps a bit. Good luck!
