For the sake of future applicants, it'd be nice if everybody posted in the class of 2012 thread with their stats and their decision, even if rejected.

This site has help curb a lot of stress for me, and I'm sure for a lot of others, so it'd be best if even rejected applicants post their stats (as nobody ever seems to) to give others more realistic chances.

I'm a bit confused about FinAid. Does anybody have anything listed for them? The Emory website implies some people will already have an est. award, unless they are missing something.

I feel so much better about applying ED, because I just saved myself a huge chunk of cash that would have been going into other applications! Emory C/O 2012. :)

Cellochick: I was worrying mostly about the same thing, too. (and then noticed how like half the emory students receive no finaid and are able to pay nearly $50k out of pocket a year; I feel so poor :))

Well, I got my acceptance in the mail this afternoon (live in Metro of Atlanta) and in fact, my estimated award was included. It was more or less what I expected (I'll only be coughing up like 1/4 of the actual cost through loans, work study, and contributions), though the EFC was about $2k or so higher than the collegeboard.com estimator put it at.
