Early Decision?

<p>Here are my stats. When I apply, should I apply Early Decision or just wait and apply at the normal time?</p>

Classes: All Magnet for High Achievers courses, 7 AP courses, joint enrollment (college credit + high school credit. These classes were taken at local college)</p>

<p>Only students who are 100% sure they want to attend a school should apply Early Decision. If you apply ED and are accepted, you'll go to Syracuse. Unless the rules have changed, you must sign the Early Decision form stating that, if accepted, you'll attend and you cannot accept another admission offer. So if you are not sure that's where you want to go, don't apply ED! As a rule, students have a better chance at acceptance when applying ED.</p>

<p>You haven't mentioned the specific school to which you are applying. Some schools at Syracuse are more competitive than others. What are you considering as a major?</p>
