<p>they promised decisions today, and those whose decisions are complete should receive them today. </p>
<p>it's not fair to delay all of our decisions because admissions can't get their act together</p>
<p>and what's with the switch to common app? they want MORE applicants? they are clearly overwhelmed by the size of the current pool</p>
<p>It's definitely a pain, but they never promised decisions by today. They said today was their goal, and that they hoped to have them out at least by Friday. I've accepted it, though it stinks to keep waiting.</p>
<p>I was accepted to Northwestern! It's U of C's loss! Woohoo! Good luck all...</p>

<p>Don't get me wrong, I love Chicago, but this is a little ridiculous. It makes me wonder if Chicago has given any thought to the fact that most students begin Christmas break on friday of next week. If they notify us on Wednesday (I assume they should be able to get it to us in the first half of the week, but we all know what happens when we assume..) that leaves those not accepted two days to turn in their supplementary forms to their obscenely understaffed guidance offices. Speaking from my own experiences with public school guidance offices, this spells catastrophe. But who cares, Chicago rocks my life. They are simply too sweet to have admissions decisions ready on time, it is beneath them.</p>
<p>I second threnody's feelings on the matter. My application got all screwed up, and they extended the deadline for me so I could get all my materials in.
I guess I can wait a few extra days...
but I'm still getting REALLY ANXIOIUS.</p>

<p>no, to say the least . . . though schoenberg is definitely the most aesthetically pleasing composer either (depending on your definition of 'aesthetically pleasing' ;). I'm a beethoven/mahler kinda guy myself.</p>

<p>wow, i must be in the outer limits.... there's one lady at my school who handles ALL the college stuff, and does so in a timely, and professional way...SUCKERS</p>

<p>Does anyone else get nervous everytime they open their bulk email box? (My email tells me what unread messages I have in the inbox on the front page...but the bulk email, not so much)</p>
<p>This is gonna mess up midterms for me. If I get rejected I'm gonna be an emotional mess and do horribly. If I get accepted I'm gonna be hyper crazy spastic and do horribly.</p>
