I truly love barnard but don’t know If i should pply early or not. Not because Im not sure I definitly want to go there but I want to know stat wise if i can thank you

I am not sure of your question. The only barrier to ED would be financial. Do you need FA aid? Do you need to compare offers? If need-based FA is not available do you need merit aid? If you answer yes to these questions, ED is probably not the way to go.

If you don’t need FA, or if your financial situation is such that you are assured of need-based aid, then it is feasible to apply ED.

Stats are not part of the deliberation.

Furthermore, if you apply ED and don’t make the first round of acceptances, you may be deferred. This allows you to have a personal relationship with the admissions office and “sweeten the pot” with detailed extras.

My daughter had this experience and was accepted for the RD round.

yes i WOuld be applying for financial aid

wait so If I apply for FA I shouldn’t do Ed why? thank you

because if accepted ED, you will not have other financial aid offers to compare to (from other schools) as you would RD. You must either take or leave it…
