Early Release Senior Year

Next year I plan on taking early release because I think i will have a stressful courseload and I also work upwards of 20 hours a week. Does anyone have an opinion on if this would effect my chances with a BA/MD program, I've heard yes as well as no.

Senior Courseload

AP Chem
AP Physics
AP Comp Sci
Honors English
AP Calculus BC
AP Govt/Econ (1 sem. each)

Also taken AP Euro, AP Us, AP Bio

A friend of mine, currently in his second year at RPI's program, graduated after the winter semester his junior year. He had all the necessary credits and sat for his last AP exams that May, and it didn't affect his matriculation into the program. You should probably call the programs you're interested in to see what they think, but I don't think it will be too much of a problem.

I think you mean your friend had an (extremely) early graduation. I mean getting out one class period earlier, but staying until the end of senior year. ;-)

Haha, my mistake. I'm still sure it's not that big of a problem, but you should still talk to your counselor and the programs.

what is early release?
Do you just get your diploma from High School earlier?

No. you get out of school a period earlier every day.
