Strange, I am a transfer applicant and my name showed up. The UID number start with 8. So I suppose it’s not me after all. Should just be a overlap of names, even though my name is really not common.

I wonder if this method would apply to other schools though? checking ucsds website.

I have been accepted to UCSD, but I do not appear in its directory.

and thats that.

freaking heart attack dude -_-

my name comes up, but I am also signed up for summer sessions this summer and am a research assistant within the psychology department. I am not paid, so I am not in a student or faculty directory for my RA position. My name only showed up when I searched under students, not the faculty. Have any other transfer students seen their name who are also signed up for summer sessions, as well as those who are not?

@howardyan2 Try searching by your phone number (drop down list). Maybe it is you?

has anyone signed up for summer sessions at CAL but not applied there? if so, does your name show up on that directory search?

^good questions, I’m still wondering if any transfer’s names have shown up on this list :/

yes my name is on there, i am a transfer student and just turned in application. however, i also am an RA on campus (though my name does not show up under faculty, only student) and I am signed up for summer sessions this summer. WHO IS SIGNED UP FOR SUMMER SESSIONS THAT HAS NOT APPLIED TO CAL??? if anyone is, and there name is NOT on there, than we know that peoples names on that website HAVE BEEN accepted.

If you are signed up for summer then you are on the list. I am signed up for UCLA courses and am on the list.

ah cool, thanks. i figured that was why, unless both of are accepted…haha, good luck!

@tomstandford: I’m pretty sure it’s not me. There is actually a same name guy like two years ago. I googled my name and Berkeley and that name (or, my name) showed up in one Berkeley pdf.

@Jayrod210: one of my friends signed for summer sessions, and his name shows up on the directory search

according to the freshman berk thread, most names have been removed from the list. except for obviously people enrolled for summer session, etc. soo looks like were just going to have to wait until April 29th.

^Ahh April 29th. Cant wait. Gonna be the best day ever…

Berkeley acceptance, Fast Five, Sushi, Sour D…

omg… just wet my pants.

this whole thing makes no sense. Thats a directory for current students! why would they put you in their directory even if you were admitted? you have to sir and say that you are going there an everything.
