Berkeley Admissions Released Early?

This is COMPLETELY UNCONFIRMED but Berkeley may have screwed its release for admissions decisions. The CalNet database for students is updated and at my school, everyone who should have got in are on this and those who are unlikely to get in are not. All of my high school's regent's scholars are on this. Take some time to convince yourself this is real.

To ensure you are part of Fall 2011, your UID should be between 90XXXX and 95XXXX. I believe they increase chronologically as last year was under 88XXXX.

Make sure you have fun, and remember, THESE ARE NOT OFFICIAL. Remember that someone admitted may share the same name as you so don't run around telling everyone you were admitted.

okkkk…if this is truee…does it mean i am accepted???
because my name showed up wheni search…

omeeeggg

I didn’t show up, awesome.

This is for real, I think.

wow nice find detective. checked some friends that got into UCLA too, and found their names too.

can anyone else tryy thiss,…im freaking out right now…

somebody is gonna get fired!

Is there anyone on here who did NOT get a regents scholarship? If so, then we can verify that it’s true. Perhaps they only listed RC scholars on there.

Well saw my name but the uid part is 7xxx. O lawd

This list includes faculty as well as students. If your UID falls out of that range, it is likely that you found someone who is not an incoming freshman and is likely an upperclassman.

Also, search for the name you used on your application. This is important as many (especially those of Asian heritage) people have different official names than everyday English names.

I am too scared to search my own name so I searched my friends’ names instead and the name of the person I would say is a shoe in at Berkeley was on there…omg.

Lol, my ID is 3XXXXX.

But that’s me though.

almost all of my friends that i search showed up, this cant be right, because they woulndt have accept this many students from one school

does app id refer to the one across all UCs? mine starts with 7xxxxx and has seven digits, and i checked for it. guess i didn’t get in

@sdbfreelancer

CalNet ID and UC ID are entirely different things. There should be only mild correlation between those two numbers.

mine UID is 93*****

same, my app id started with 7, my uid is 93…

i dont have a UID??? ive looked through all my e-mails but i dont see it

It’s if you find your name and click on it

after u search ur name, and it shows up, click ur name and itll tell u ur uid

is this really legit???

im shaking, no joke

im still skeptical, because so many of my friends name showed up
