Anyone else feel it?

What magnitude was it?

<a href=“Earthquake Hazards Program | U.S. Geological Survey”>Earthquake Hazards Program | U.S. Geological Survey;

Apparently it was a 6.9 earthquake.

Thank construction technology that you’re alive.

Yes that was quite powerful. I was in my garage and wondering if it was better to stay inside or outside.

Wow that spooked me for a moment until it was just fun. Then I hoped it wouldn’t get worse. Just felt a few aftershocks so far.

I didn’t feel it … the earthquake was in Mexico, not SoCal -_-

My grandpa in San Diego felt it and my uncle just below the Mexican border (not sure where he is exactly) called to say that he’s ok but that there is damage. He’s close to the epicenter.

the epicenter was in Mexico so technically the earthquake can still be in Socal.

I think there were three or four earthquakes within minutes of each other.

^ Are they connected? (Excuse my ignorance, I have never lived anywhere with earthquakes.)

PS: Warts, that is from about 3 weeks ago.

^Thats not a recent earthquake.

^I noticed that. I think that was from March 16th. Sorry, I was looking on CNN and there were other earthquake articles listed. I assumed that it was relevant at first.

Here’s one:
[Magnitude 6.9 Quake Strikes Baja California - WSJ.com](<a href=“Magnitude 7.2 Quake Strikes Baja California - WSJ”>Magnitude 7.2 Quake Strikes Baja California - WSJ)

Not sure how good it is though lol.

Edit:
Here’s a better one- but it’s still unfolding so information is scarce. http://www.sbsun.com/breakingnews/ci_14817433

Thanks for the articles!

Here’s another one:

[Strong earthquake hits Baja California - CNN.com](<a href=“Two killed, 100 injured in Mexican earthquake - CNN.com”>Two killed, 100 injured in Mexican earthquake - CNN.com)

I think that it just occurred about forty or so minutes ago so there isn’t a significant amount of information. There have been a multitude of earthquakes this year though.

wow, after twenty minute, CNN wrote this report that quick.

My mom and little brother didn’t feel it downstairs. I felt it upstairs and I felt that it was big. I live in OC. Anyone know destruction levels?

Talked with friends is Los Angeles, they felt vertigo, but everything is fine.

I felt it in West LA - it wasn’t much but it was pretty long. my mom and brother did not feel it…

Looks like there was a 5.1 aftershock in Imperial county

^Where in West LA? Nobody at my house felt it.

I’m in OC too and I definitely definitely felt it. It wasn’t huge but it was decent, and lasted like 10 seconds. No destruction that I know of, but I hear police sirens up the wazoo.
