Easiest college to get into

I hear that there are 6 different colleges at the school, and im asking simply out of curiosity. Are some colleges easier to get into than others? I heard revell is hard and few people apply, so does that mean its easier to get into? If so, what are the easiest and hardest?

I would suggest you do not pick your college based on difficulty. This “difficulty” varies per person due to the fact that not everyone (ok maybe half xD) in UCSD has the same major. Because certain majors want you to take certain classes, pick the college that fits those requirements. For example, if you want to do engineering, you probably do not want to take a lot of writing classes, so avoid picking roosevelt as first choice.
I hope that clears things up a bit
and look at the websites for each of the six colleges, they list all of the GE requirements

It doesn’t really matter which college is the easiest or hardest to get into. Rank the colleges based on your preferences. There’s no point in putting Revelle first if you don’t want to be in Revelle.

If what you’re really asking is whether or not your ranking of colleges affects your ability to get into UCSD, it doesn’t. You get admitted to UCSD and then you get admitted to a particular college.

None it’s solely base on your academics and ECs. You don’t need to play game with UCSD for admissions. At least not in the past years.

@DrGoogle‌ yes, ive posted this thread in both forums. thanks for your responses!

Toe, are you still interested in industrial engineering? I found out that San Diego has Management Science and Deloitte is also in the career fair. Look at the career survey for 2013 to give you an idea about job possibilities.

@DrGoogle‌ yes i am still interested. can you link me to the survey?

I’m on my iPhone so it’s not easy. Just google UCSD career survey 2013 and look under technology. I saw a management science there. I think I also noticed on the career fair the name Deloitte.

@DrGoogle‌ so is management sceince similar to IE?

No. It’s similar to economics.

It depends in the school but for some schools ie is very business related. I was surprise that it’s listed under technology so I think it could be related. More accounting classes.

So what happens when you dont get in to your firs choice college? Does UCSD go down the order in which you wanted and give you the next one?

@balhbalh‌ yes, they go down your list.
