Easiest, last minute AP to self-study?

I'm a junior currently self-studying AP Gov and HG. My school offers USH mostly as a self-study, considering that the regular USH class doesn't even cover half the material, with one period a week for review.I started USH and hated it, so I switched to the two AP's I'm taking now and love them! Because I think I will be done studying early, what's the best AP out there that requires the least amount of time to study, since I'll probably only have about 4 weeks? I was thinking AP English Lit, but I'm also looking for other suggestions. Thanks!

I thought AP Psych was really easy. It’s definitely one of the easiest APs, just a large vocabulary test.

I’m planning on taking that next year. So I should just go with AP English Lang? (Meant English Lang. not Lit, in the original post)

Hmmm I’m doing ES this year, and it’s pretty easy. If you’re strong in English though, Lang will probably be fine for you.

English Lang should be easy enough as long as you already have a strong foundation in writing.
The essays should be pretty familiar to you, except for perhaps rhetorical analysis.

AP Psych most definitely.
I self-studied/crammed two days before the exam and I got a 5 bahaha.

I’m sorry I’m a junior taking AP LANG and that is not a class you can just “study” for; this is English we’re talking about—which conveys your innate ability to scrutinize and respond to text— not something someone can ameliorate in 4 weeks. And I’m only telling this because you would not get a 3,4,5.
“You cannot study english, english will study you.” —my english teacher and since you’re so arrogant do you mind telling me what rhetorical device is this, haha?
Sorry I’m just naturally sardonic.

I agree with snailpoop. I took AP Lang as a junior last year and it’s definitely not something you can self study quickly. The idea of it may seem easy because it’s just English but there are a lot of things such as rhetoric and analyzing that you probably don’t know how to do. I recommend AP Psychology. Though I’ve only taken a regular Phych class, I still think that it can be fairly easy to study.

“You cannot study english, english will study you.”

…chiasmus?

Ap English language can be very hard or easy depending on how solid your foundation in writing is.

If you can write well, then the AP English Language exam won’t be too hard. It’s basically an argument essay, rhetorical analysis essay, and synthesis where you put together different documents to form your own (OWN) arguments. The M/C is basically SAT Cr on steroids. Harder passages with harder questions, and they do ask you specific rhetorical devices.

So it’s basically 3 essays and one M/C section… which means…

It’s practice, practice, practice. Look into the directions carefully, and make sure you follow them very carefully. Acquaint yourself with them. Look into sample essays. See which ones got high scores. It’s not exactly easy, but if you’re willing to spend the time to practice then it will be very possible to get a 5.

English Language is unique in that it doesn’t require too much memorization or any calculation (except for rhetorical devices, and you do want to have a large vocabulary). But you need to do a lot of practice to get a 5. If you’re talented at writing, a 5 shouldn’t be too hard. If you’re not… maybe you should wait until you take a formal writing course.

CliffsNotes and the AP website are two invaluable sources if you’re considering on taking it.

according to my friends, psych.
