Other than one's obvious strong points, which SAT 2 tests do you guys think are easier??

Math IIC and US History. USH seems to me to be the easiest to study for. I read a review book covering all of America's History in about a week(wasn't a long book) and took a few practice tests and consistently scored in the mid 700's. I ended up with a 770.

isn't math IC easier then math IIC

Math IIC has a much easier curve. I think you can miss 8 or so and still make an 800.

but lets say i'm not exactly great at math...and I am only taking alg 2 this year (junior year).....still IIC?

Math IC covers less material than the IIC, but it has a harsher curve. However, the Math IIC is by no means "easy". The test covers material through pre-calc, so if you've taken that, you're in good shape for the test. However, MomofWildChild has posted this warning in the past and I wanted to reiterate - regardless of your math background, you still need to put in the time and practice if you want to do well.

Edit: To bylthe, I would recommend taking the IC because unless you want to self-study all of pre-calc, the IIC will test quite a bit of material you don't know.

does any1 know if Literature is hard?

If you did good on the verbal section of the SAT then it usually is. If your a math or science kind of person you'd probably want to take something else.

i'm an international student and know almost nothing about US history. If i want to take the test and hope to get around 750-800, how should i prepare?

Thanks, Tanman. I get nervous when everyone says IIC is easy! S did think IC was easy (again, no prep). He thought Lit was pretty hard. You can't really prep for Lit, and he didn't.
S got 740 on IC which is 95 percentile or something.

Ryker, may I ask you what book you used for U.S. History?

I am taking Alg 2 Junior Year and plan to take the 2c around May with Physics. What is the best book to learn all of Pre-Calc for the 2c? I am willing to self-study this.
