East Bay or Northridge?
Go to the bay or stay near home?
Which is better?
I’d say, go to Northridge if only to experience something new, but how do costs compare?
The costs for both schools are similar. However, i live about 1 hour from Northridge and 7 hours from east bay.

They are both very much commuter schools. We live about 45 minutes from NR.
My son’s friend went there and lived on campus. He ended up going home every weekend because most people left on the weekends. He ended up moving home the next year. I suspect East Bay might be similar. Just something to think about.
In most programs Northridge is probably nominally better than EB. They are both very much commuter schools. Kind of a toss up so, tour the campuses and let your son pick.
