Im a junior in engineering , or Ioe, and my grades are really bad, next semester, I need to improve my gpa, and I’m thinking about taking cee 265, and an hu humanities class, and then two other classes for a total of 14 credits.
Any advice for any easy humanities or general elective classes? I’m just taking one engineering, cee 265 next semester and I’ll be done with the 3 engineering classes outside Ioe, but what are some easy classes in LSA or humanities classes where everyone gets an A?
It’s really important that I get above a 3.5 gpa, so what are some good general elective classes where everyone gets an A as long as you put in a fair amount of effort, and I don’t need hard, competitive classes with tons of work. I realize every class will have work, but not all classes are created equal and I need gpa boosters or else I’ll be in deep do do and be on academic probation.
I actually got a D in Ioe 202 so I must take it again, should I take it next semester, or is that risky and might drop my gpa? I kniw the average is a b in the class and it’s a large class, so it wouldn’t benefit my gpa and it’s best I take it the semester after next semester.
I’m on coop this semester and am working so I’m not in classes now and I’m trying to figure things out and it’s almost time to register again,so I must pick my classes wisely. I heard aaptis classes were easy but I tried to get into one last semester but couldn’t get in. And the prof recommended we knew Arabic. Would I suffer in an aaptis class if I don’t know Arabic?
Ethnically, I’m East Asian, I’m not international and lived in the US my whole life to immigrant parents, and I’m somewhat familiar and in touch with my heritage, but not like 100% in tune, so would asian studies classes be easy or no? If so, which ones?
is this the same person as engineer20?
something’s not adding up here…
alright, regardless, is technical communications easy? I still have to take techcomm for IOE. Or is it likely I’ll get a B and mess up my GPA? Due to my situation, it’s imperative I get all As and a B would seriously screw me over next semester. In future semesters, I can get Bs, etc, but I have to get all As next semester, so I don’t want a class that’s overly competitive, if you know what I mean?
If you honestly tried your hardest in IOE 202 and got a D, then I don’t think there are any courses that’ll be a guaranteed A for you.
I had some personal issues going on and i crammed and didn’t try my hardest though i did try somewhat.
Exactly, that’s why i said no engineering or math since 202 is easy for a stem class. Im looking for easy lsa classes (ie. Intro to sociology, philosophy, area studies, celtic studies, communications, etc)
Those classes are known to be easier than stem classses but you could still pick a wrong class and get a B. The unUniversity is huge, I’m pretty sure there exists 14 credits of easy , guatenteed A classes.
