Hi every one! I will study at cc this year .i have a question is i am confusing at international degree because i heard some people said internaltional business is very very hard to find a job and is it hard to study?
My advantage is have two languages so can everybody help for me.
My $.02: not all international business programs are created equal. Some are very robust while others seem to be more of a general business major with some language thrown in. Further, some may have certain geographic focuses. If you are German speaker looking to work in the EU, you may not be as interested in a program with strong ties to the Pacific Rim.
I would really try to dig in to the placement of recent graduates. The other way to go is major in finance and minor (or major) in your second language. Good luck!
Choose carefully. An indication of how strong the program is, is by looking at the foreign language requirements (what proficiency must be achieved, if you must or can study abroad/intern abroad, whether the university offers contemporary culture classes and Business classes).
Some programs are not good at job placement because they’re just a general business major with 3 courses in foreign language thrown in. (You want actually proficiency, ie., level 5/advanced or level 6/superior).
Some are very selective (USC Columbia being highly selective) and have excellent placement.
