Eat first then brush or brush then eat?

Yo tengo un questionado.

Do you wake up in the morning and eat and then brush or brush and then eat.

I'm using the correct "then" right? Than is thAND (comparison) while then is thTIMEn or whatever...time :)

Interesting question. I brush first, then eat.

And yes, you used the correct form of "then" :)

I brush first, then eat

i eat then brush, because why would i want to immediately ruin my brushing & flossing job by getting food stuck in me teeth and such?

Brush then eat

Brush Before Breakfast advises the British Dental Health Foundation

I agree with madmag. I eat and then brush but people are like "***"?

I usually bring up the analogy would you shower and then work out and go on with your day?

What also makes me weirded out is how guys shower and then shave. I MEAN ***!!!!!!!!!!1 Isn't that a little backwards?

edit: I don't drink milk or oj in the morning. Winna~!

I:

-brush
-eat
-brush again

I actually brush several (6+) times a day. I went to the dentist and she was like: "Your teeth are TOO clean" lol

^ Are there any negative effects of brushing too often?

^yes.

I eat and then brush. Who would want to go to school with breakfast breath? I rather go with minty fresh breath!

I usually brush first in the morning, but I usually brush after a big meal if I'm going somewhere, and again at night. I think the night brushing is the more important one anyway.

agbm, many razors/shaving creams say that you are supposed to wash your face before you shave it. Given that a shower is a good time to wash your face, most people shave after they shower.

i wash my face with clearasil

i keep pwning the system. i swearz.

I eat, then brush. However for breakfast, I brush, then eat, then rinse with Listerine cause my dentist told me to.

I'm minty fresh.

I used to brush and then eat, but recently I've begun eating before brushing because as some of you have already mentioned, it makes more sense that way. I remember at sleepovers, I was the only kid who woke up early to brush her teeth before breakfast. Man, I was such a confused child. I thought my parents got it all wrong. But anyway, once schools starts up again, I'll probably go back to brushing before eating because it's a lot easier that way when you're short on time.

I have a challened

Next time you shave, shower after you shave.

Then the next time you shave, shower after.

you will instantly notice that the later is better. and causes much less irritation.

Morning breath is extremely disgusting. I feel the immediate need to brush after I wake up, even if that makes my OJ taste bitter.

I brush and then I eat. After sleeping the whole night with the bacteria growing in your mouth I want to clean my mouth before I do anything else.

I eat and then brush.

I brush then eat

As for shaving, I use the ultimate technique. Rather than wash my face/shower, followed by shaving, I use soap as shaving cream; put soap on my face, then shave before washing it off. Works awesome

I brush, eat, then brush again. I don't think I can get myself to eat without brushing in the morning.
