Have any CAS students taken ECON 010 or have been able to register for it this fall? The Econ website says it is for Wharton students only, but the course registration doesn't say that (neither in the booklet or online)

For MGMT 100, it clearly states it is for Wharton students only. Also has anyone been able to transfer in as a sophomore to Wharton without fulfilling the Econ requirement? Can you take it in the summer if you are accepted as a transfer?

econ 10 really is intro to econ for wharton students. if you are in the college, you are better off taking econ 1 then econ 2, because econ 10 will not count to an econ majoy in the college. now i think that if you want to transfer into wharton next year, that econ 10 might fulfull the wharton econ requirement. that being said i dont think anyone in CAS ever takes econ 10, simply bc it wont count for major requirements

id strongly reccomend fulfilling the econ requirement if you plan on transfering into wharton next year. its a very competitive process and not having econ done would probably be a deal breaker.

You need to take Econ 1 and 2 to transfer into Wharton. I have never heard of a non Wharton student taking Econ 10. Econ 1 and Econ 2 satisfy the Econ 10 requirement. I’ve heard some stuff about being able to take a requirement over the summer, though I wouldn’t use that as my main path to transfer and would talk to a college advisor first.
