I am attending Wharton this fall.
I do not have AP credit in either Micro or Macro.
Taking that into account, should I be taking Econ 1 and 2 or Econ 10 my freshman year?

Are we supposed to take both Econ 001 and Econ 002 or just Econ 10? If I take both Econ 1 and Econ 2 will that restrict me from taking other classes in terms of space, or is it common to take both Econ courses? I am asking this because my high school did not offer either of the AP Economics courses so I do not have a background in Micro or Macro

Wharton students are supposed to take Econ 10. Econ 10 was made for Wharton students. If you only have AP credit for Micro, you can take Econ 2 instead. If you only have AP credit for Macro, you can take Econ 1 instead. Econ 10 prepares you well enough for Wharton courses and taking 1 and 2 chews up too much time. However, if you want to take a lot of econ courses for whatever reason, you might be better off taking Econ 1, 2, and 101 vs Econ 10 and BPUB 250.
