Econ 100a and 120a

I'm planning to take either 100a or 120a this spring quarter, but I'm not sure which to take. I'm trying to get ahead by taking this now instead of next year, but which one should I start with? Does it really matter? Should they be taken concurrently?
Thanks!

They can be taken at the same time. 100A is a lot tougher than 120A, so if you only want to take one of them take 120A first. The 120 series us pretty easy overall. The exams are almost exactly like the problem sets with most profs. The only 120 prof I would avoid would be Beare. For 100A, definitely avoid Noel at all costs. His final makes people cry…no joke.

Machina’s 100A/AH midterms had something like 30/80 = C+, if I recall correctly. You’d be around a B+ if you had 50% overall in the class.

A good 20% of the class still managed to fail, though.

Anyway, I agree with USMC0311 – take them concurrently. It just seemed easier that way.
