Has anyone been taught by either Robert Tempest Masson or Louis Falkson? What are your opinions of them as teachers?

I’ve heard they’re both terrible.

I haven’t heard great things either, but I’d like to gather as many opinions as possible from people who’ve taken their classes. My first preferences were Maxim Troshkin and Henry Y. Wan Jr., but those classes are full as of now.

Masson is bad but it’s a free A.

If you can, wait until kyle or bersegyeryvyerybhg (not to be confused with besharov) teaches macro. That’s what I’m doing.

Is it possible to attend another instructor’s lectures instead even if you’re not enrolled in it?

^
Absolutely, but that won’t help for the tests since each instructors makes their own.

^^
I’m taking Intermediate Macro with Kyle this semester. I’ve just stopped going to both lecture and section because both he and his TA are absolutely horrendous and their lectures have nothing to do with the tests. I managed to get a B+ on the prelim somehow. Hoping to pull off an A- in the class.

I took Intermediate Micro with Troshkin my first semester. In my opinion, he was god awful, but some people liked him. To me, he’s just one of those professors that clearly does not care about his teaching-- his entire final was LITERALLY reused questions from the midterms. LITERALLY. Which of course meant the curve sucked since everyone aced it.
