I've got a 3.55 GPA, which isn't stellar but I thought it would at least get me into UCSD.
But I hear those courses are impacted, so even with a 3.55 what are my chances at UCLA, UCB, UCSD? What are other schools I could look at?? help plz.

Econ is extremely impacted at Berkeley and UCLA. Haas is even more so at Berkeley so far as Business goes.

yeah…and I wanted to apply to both those…
I picked a bad major combination for these schools…
What other schools should I apply for? Out-of state as well.

With a 3.55 GPA for econ, unless you’ve incredible EC’s, essays, or personal circumstances, your chances seem to be slim for UCB and UCLA. but for UCSD, your chances seem to be higher
All in all, you should apply to all anyway

I would also consider UCSB, UCI , USC and top CSU’s.

I wouldn’t apply econ for UCLA. I would choose another major.

I would still apply econ or environmental econ or political economy for UCB.
