econ classes

I want to take math based economics but I don't want to wait until after math 53 to enroll in econ 101 series (which would be 2nd semester sophomore year or first semester if i take it over the summer). Is there any way for me to take the econ 100 series and then take other econ classes so that I will be at the same place as someone who followed the 101 series?

i dont think you need to take math 53 for econ. General Catalog - Economics

Realistically, no, you can't take 100A-100B, take some other courses, and still be in the same standing as someone who took 101A-101B. That being said, I think your schedule is completely fine. Many students in 101A-101B are either juniors or seniors, and you have plenty of time. My advice to you would be to stick with your regular game plan (take Math 53 some time next year), and then move ahead to the 101 series.
