Econ/CS or Econ/Applied Math?

Which combination makes more sense and is better for landing prestigious jobs? I’ve heard econ/math is a good combo, but that it is really hard. I’ve also heard econ/cs is a good combo too but that classes have no overlaps and there isnt a point in that combination. Any help would be appreciated!
(If it helps, my first choice is Brown University)

No need to decide now. First go through the college application process, see where you end up, and see what majors are available. Then start taking some classes in different areas and get a better sense of where your interests and aptitudes lie. Once you have a sense of what road or roads you may want to pursue you can go to career services at your college and get a sense of where students with different majors end up in the workplace.

I agree with happy. I would like to add that both combinations will be difficult but in the end both would be useful. Econ/CS can get you data analysts, business analysts etc type jobs.

I mean… what kind of job do you want?

Also, econ + mis would have overlaps if they’re both in the b-school
