Econ Programs: Colgate, Bucknell, UVA, Boston College, Wm & Mary, Wake Forest, Lafayette, Scripps

Would appreciate anyone's opinion here. My D is a HS senior and leaning toward either applying ED to Colgate or Bucknell (or others as follows). She is also considering Lafayette, UVA, Boston College, Wake Forest, William & Mary and Scripps. What do you think her chances are, especially to Colgate and Bucknell and any of the others? Also, she is leaning toward studying economics. What school has a better econ program for a prospective career related to business? Advanced thanks!!!

GPA 3.86

ACT 31

Bronze medal, 2012 World Taekwon-Do championships (blackbelt)

Gold Medal, Congressional Award (An award for Community Service, Physical Fitness, Personal Development, Exploration/Expedition)

Silicon Valley Entrepreneurship award and has had leadership roles in a HS Entrepreneurship course

Swam Alcatraz

Is that her weighted or unweighted GPA?

I would say UVA and Colgate, but Scripps alumnae have incredible success and the network is very strong. While these schools are reaches due to high selectivity, the combination of academic competitivity and international-level EC means her odds are very, very good at all of these.
