I have a big problem. I have gotten 5's on both my Micro and Macro AP exams, and as an incoming economics major freshman, I am required to take Principles of Economics as one of my major requirements. My advisor says that I already have credit for that course b/c of my AP scores. However, I am really intersted in this prof Klepper and his course. Should I retake Principles or just skip it?

I thought that the econ department didn't accept AP credit as pre-requisites for any of its higher level courses, so you would have to retake everything. Maybe it's different if your primary major is econ... I've only heard good things about Klepper, and that he's hard. :)
