Is it true these majors are almost the same - and that both majors have the same career options ahead of them for the future?

Also - which would be considered the easier major?

bump ~ need answer guy

Hmm...not necessarily the same - economics is more theory based...and more in depth while finance starts w/ economics and goes into detail with actual finance aspects (securities, etc.). Both however, CAN lead to finance jobs, but not necessarily true. I would think a finance major would be easier.

Thank you for your opinion - so it seems most economics majors deal with more theory - and finance majors deal with more math?

Yeah finance would be a more practice major (I'm still in high school..its just my general opinion). But both will get you a good ibanking job.
