Hi,

I was wondering what you think of self-studying economics AP during/for sophmore year. Do you think it would be really difficult, which book(s) do you recommend? Thanks

Hi,

Economics is one of the easiest subjects, actually. Not a lot of variety of content. Macroeconomics is easier than Microeconomics, I would say. Get the Barron's AP prep book and you''ll be set. It has both Micro and Macro and it's still pretty short. Just be sure you're good with arithmatic and charts.

Amb4IV, I'm doing the same exact thing and I'm a sophomore too. Not sure how exactly that helps...I also have to agree with ucapplicant05-the Barron's book is good so far. :)

so you dont think it would be that difficult... as a sophomore?... is barrons better than PR?

Ap economics is difficult. but use barron's. u wil lget at leas ta 4

bump .

I had a course in Macro as a soph and self-studied Micro the same year. I suppose it helped that I had a base in general econ.

Barron's was the best for self-studying since PR was too condensed and didn't offer good explanations.
