So I was admitted to Cal's College of Letters & Science, but I see that the economics major is impacted. Does anyone know how competitive admittance to the major is? Are there maybe any stats available?

Thanks.

It’s not actually that competitive. Automatic acceptance if you have a 3.0 after taking the prerequisites.

Where on that webpage does it say anything about a 3.0?

3.0 and above = likely to get in

getting less than a 3.0 as an econ major may not bode well for you anyway out there in the job market… so just consider yourself in shrugs
