Hey there!
I am a sophomore in college and in the process of choosing a major. I want to pursue something in marketing, but the only major offered in my college, that goes along with “business”, is economics. If I want to major in marketing, I have to transfer to another school to do so. I’ve read many forums claiming that economics is a versatile major. Should I major in economics? Will I be able to find a job in marketing with an economics major?
Weirdly, you may find a job in marketing with an economics major more easily than with a marketing major, especially if you have a strong grasp of statistics. See if there are individual marketing, organizational or applied psychology classes you could take with that major and minor, and your be better set than a typical marketing major.
