<p>Which major do you think is better?</p>

<p>Let's say, for instance, that you got into NYU Stern and Stanford. If you went to Stanford and got a B.A. in Economics, would that hinder you compared to getting a B.S. in Business from NYU Stern?</p>

<p>Basically, does one need to go to business school?</p>

<p>Not at all. I majored in Economics and I had offers from Lehman Brothers on London and Goldman Sachs in NYC. Where you go to school and how well you do matter more than what you study.</p>
