Has anyone else had the grievance of having to deal with working with a bad partner (in ECs)?
For me, every year of Science Olympiad, I partner with someone who ends up doing next to nothing and shares credit for the work I do.
Same in out-of-class projects: I always end up editing, mainly because I don't trust anyone else to do it (and if you're an editor, you can probably relate).
I used to like being part of a team and stuff, but I'm starting to gravitate towards individual competitions because everything is dependent on me and my skill/effort. It's just that individual competitions are kind of boring.
Lol that was kind of a rant...

Exact opposite for me, actually. My partner is excellent. I’m president of the debate team; he’s VP. We’re public forum and mock trial partners, and he’s an excellent asset. Intelligent guy; his morals can be rather annoying at times, though.

I’m jealous. I guess there’s the other ends of the spectrum too, where people are equals and where your partner is better. There was one time where my partner did all the work and I felt really bad… He’s at a different high school now.
