ED 1: Should I directly send my October SAT scores?

I just took the October SAT today and I’m applying Early Decision to Tufts (November 1st deadline). Should I send the scores directly now or will they still receive them on time if I send them on October 22nd, when the scores are released? I’ve taken the SAT before and I just want to make sure that I’m sending my best score; it would be great if I could see my score on the 22nd, make sure it improved, and then send it.

The website says:
“Please refer to the following information for the last possible test date to be considered for each round of admission:
Early Decision I: Students may take the October ACT / November SAT or Subject Tests
In these cases, please be sure to send your scores directly to Tufts University through the College Board when you sit for your exam (provided you send the scores directly, there isn’t a need to rush your scores). This will ensure that we receive your scores in time to be considered in your application.”

It doesn’t mention October SAT scores. Does this mean I can wait until the 22nd to send them? Thanks!!

You can wait until the 22nd to send the score. It is totally fine.

I am in similar situation. Deadline for some of the school for EA or some special program regular decision as well is November 1st. Shall I just send score now for it to be on time for Oct 22nd or Send Oct 22nd? Even if I send now, what bad can happen? if my scores are not best, Still it will take my previous score. right? at least it allows us to think that we dont have to rush it. also take advantage of 4 free ones. Any ideas or suggestions?

Update: I talked to an admissions officer from Tufts today. He said that sending October SAT/subject test scores after their release date is perfectly fine. He said Tufts starts reading applications mid November for ED 1.
