ED and EA at the same time?

Can I apply for Early Action to a college whist I am waiting for my Early Decision 1 results from another college?
I mean the college where I plan to apply for ED has the deadline Nov.15 with the results due Dec 20. Meanwhile, the EA college has deadline of Dec 1.

Thanks in advance.

Does the ED college ask you to agree not to apply EA elsewhere? Does the EA college ask you to agree not to apply ED elsewhere?

“Can I apply for Early Action to a college whist I am waiting for my Early Decision 1 results from another college?”

Generally, yes, but check each school’s web site for exceptions.

Well, I haven’t contacted the college. Are these things college-specific? If so, I can inquire with the concerned colleges. I was asking about what the general trend is.
Thanks

ED is college specific and that information is usually available on the website.

For EA you usually can apply ED somewhere, but some EA schools are restricted you from applying ED, like Stanford, so check the websites.

Some colleges do not allow international applicants from applying EA or ED. You need to check.

Generally. You can apply ED and EA, however you must rescind ur EA application and any others if admitted ED.

Provided your not talking about SCEA (single college early action)

ED colleges generally allow you to apply EA elsewhere. It is the EA colleges you will need to check closely because a number do not allow you to apply ED elsewhere.

Many ED would exclude you from ED/EA at other private schools but okay with public schools. You do need to check each school specifically.

Why would any ED agreement preclude someone from applying EA at another school (public or private)? Specifically, the ED agreement would have the applicant withdrawing all other apps, including EA apps. I’ve never heard of an EA-restricted ED agreement.
