I understand that if I apply as an ED, I should send my final grades from my diploma when I graduate. However, will I have to send them directly to the college or through Common App? Also, if I get accepted and for some reason my final grades drop, is there a chance for my application to be rejected on account of my marks?
Upon HS graduation, your school sends them. I understand that you’re not in the USA. They sent your first set of grades, right? If not, simply repeat how you got the college your transcript the first time.
For admission rejection due to grades, avoid Ds, Fs and felonies. Are any of those in your plans?
Yes, I am an international student. I am graduating in June 2017, I will get my diploma grades at the end of July. I will be applying for college as ED next year, I will be able to send in my first trimester grades at that point and later on the first semester ones which we normally receive in February. For the past 3 years I’ve had A’s and a B in one of 14 subjects. However, as my country’s standardized exam is taken in June the year we graduate I will probably have more B’s especially in the first semester and perhaps at the end of this year due to my preparation for the SAT…
So, basically I should be worried if there were a huge difference in grades but not necessarily if they were to decrease by 1 or 2 marks at the most?
avoid Ds, Fs and felonies
I see, thank you very much!
