Are some decision letters already mailed?

exactly. they should email . haha you should call them and tell them that

they have to send an e-mail to internationals. or else we can’t send a reply in time.

Isn’t it possible to find out if we are in or not through the Enrol online link?

Something to pass the time ;)

Bates has stopped replying to emails completely. I tried to email them asking if they’ve finalised their decision, of sending email notification to Internationals, or not but they are just not replying.

I work for a college and know how swamped Admissions offices are this time of year. That’s probably the reason they’re not responding.

any news on the decisions?

Nothing in today’s mail in the Boston area.

this is just sad. frustration is killing me

Nothing here in western NH either.

I read on Bates Admissions twitter feed that notifications would go out on Dec. 18. If so, it’s a few more days :-(

Admissions page on the website now says that ED1 letters will be sent by 12/20. I think it previously said received by 12/20.

Where on the website? Under timelines, it’s still the same - notification from Bates on Dec. 20; candidates reply to Bates by Dec. 31. Thanks!

Never mind - I found it. It does say they’ll be mailed BY December 20 so maybe that means sooner? fingers crossed

Oh man, I really want to get into Bates so my anxiety level is overshooting. They’ve already wait listed me and rejected me, I hope they accept me this time, but I desperately hope they don’t defer me. I can’t wait for 3 more months, I’ll be happier if they reject me rather than deferring me.

Oh Lord please answer my wishes this Christmas season!

Hey BTW, Bates ED acceptance is almost 50% right? That’s much better than RD, isn’t it? :)

its much better than rd. but im getting more and more frustrated by the minute. idk if they will even email the decision to the internationals. now probably within two days we will know …

Has anyone heard about how internationals will be notified?

In the past international students have received emails, US students have received their decisions by snail mail.

hoping that they send it today :D

Conn College sent an email to their ED1 applicants a week in advance letting them know decision letters would be available on line the evening of December 10th. At around 8:30 that evening they were posted and my son found out he was accepted. His twin brother applied to Bates so you can imagine how anxious we all are at the moment.
