<p>A bit torn between the two, but slightly to CMC's side.
I've visited both schools and i had to say i liked Emory's campus alot more. The facilities (library, athletics, dorms, buildings) were remarkable and the campus is tabbaco free.
However, CMC's Ath speakers, study programs, leadership, and the whole practical approach has been a real unique attraction to me.
I plan to study business and psych, my business focuses are entrepreneurship, human resources management, and sales.
CMC is an truly unique school and i feel like Emory kinda lacks personality? I mean it doesn't seem to emphasize on the growth of a particular character. I feel i might be just a face and won't grow as much. But on the other side, being a bigger university, Emory may offer more resources, alumini, and diversity?
Emory's BBA has been rated no.5 by Bloomberg with wonderful faculty but CMC's econ program is top noch and highly empahsized.
I know CMC has some real good psych profs, including the former APA president, but Emory has awesome hospitals=top research oppurtunities.
Here are my questions/concerns.
My concern is i'm into management and international business rather than finance and accounting, will CMC still be a good fit for me?
Also, I think i'll grow more of a person in CMC's envrionment, but is it really that great? Does the school really give you that much individual attention and oppurtunities?
My family is from China and i plan to do international business in China and the US. They raised the concern that CMC is almost never heard in China and that would hurt my prestige and resume.
Which would be better for my academic interests mentioned above?
Pros and Cons for both schools?
Thanks so much everyone for reading my long post!</p>
<p>Why ED at all? </p>
<p>Apply to both of these places RD, and to a couple of Rolling or Early Action institutions, and wait to see where you are admitted and what the aid packages look like next April.</p>
<p>And if you are serious about entrepreneurship, you really need to be looking at [Babson</a> College](<a href=“http://www.babson.edu/Pages/default.aspx]Babson”>Best College For Entrepreneurship | Babson College)</p>
