<p>If you are deferred, it may not hurt to let the admissions office know how much you want to attend Dickinson (if this is in fact the case). My S was waitlisted 2 years (Dickinson was his first choice). He contacted them (by letter, I think) and let them know how badly he wanted to go there. He was accepted off of the waitlist. He is now a student at Dickinson and loves it! I would not waste the time of the people in the admissions office unless you are sure that you would go there if you are accepted.</p>
