anyone else happy its ****ing spring?

i live in the suburbs of philly and it was like 68 degrees today

I guess WideEyesOpen is tryin to say 68 degree Fahrenheit. Plz irrationale 68 degree celsius is just over for the whole Earth. its not possible. u have to reach extreme sahara to have that. i think eevn u reach there u wudnt get that temperature. for us here in south asia. 68 degree fahrenheit is nathin. evryday temperature. got it.

haha.. dug this 1 out from the deep.. seems kinda funny now.. if u go thru all the anticipations and apprehensions that we had following the days of first hearin frm Trin!...

I am from Nepal. I'm applying to trinity for the class of '11. Could you people out there plz tell me how good are my chances of getting in. I did my A Levels from Budhanilkantha School. I took 5 subjects. Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Further Mathematics and General Paper. My final grades are B, C, A, B, b respectively. My high school ranking is 26/91. I took my SAT. the scores are R-610, W-690, M-680. I guess I'll be taking the SAT again. I took the SAT 2 as well. My scores are Maths 1- 730, Maths 2- 800, Physics-610. About my EC's, I've been a VP of a club. Exec. Mem. of 3 clubs. organized a concert and performed on stage many times and many more. How strong d'u people think my chance is? Any response will be highly appreciated.

a good thing 2 do would be to apply ED... that increases ur chances by miles and u have soooo many nepalis and south asians in general here that u would not feel away frm home. SO i think doing an ED and binding urself is worth it. Additionally, I personally think you should try and improve ur reasoning math score. i mean if u get 730s and 800s in SAT 2, u can definitely get 800 in SAT I math and they do dig that. Being nepal perhaps gives u an added advantage since trinity takes so many nepalis. Apart from that well frankly ur class ranking might be a little bit of a backdrop but i m not sure how much. IT is definitely worth givin it a shot.

so does that mean I have a fairly good chance of getting in? about my sat reasoning maths, I should consider myself ver unlucky. I used to get 750+ everytime i took a practice test. 2 times it was a perfect 800 in the tests. dunno what happened in the main day. i am planning to take the test again.
but shouldn't a score of 680 work???

i think there are like 7 nepalis with 1 studying abroad. about getting in.. you've a chance ED, but certainly not a sure shot. Trinity is gettin increasingly selective i think. and about 680 working, it doesn't help either. great math score + below-average verbal score for internationals is better than average score all around i think. but don't quote me on that.

best piece of advice... apply ED if u plan on applying!
