ED for which Ivy is better??

So the question says it all...Which ivy league school has the best chances for Early DEcision?

Thanks guys!

It really depends on what you’re looking for. Besides, you shouldn’t be applying ED to an Ivy for the sake of getting into an ivy… you apply ED because it’s your first choice college.

whichever ivy league college you have legacy in.

Penn accepts a great deal under ED. I think it might be highest. However, realize that HYP all do early action, single choice and accept more under that but not a huge amount more (percentage wise).

Echoing poster 2, your idea to shotgun towards an “IVY” because you might get a boost to being accepted is a pretty faulty strategy. They are truly looking for people who will add to their communities – not on people who fetishize their Ivy name.

You need to step back, figure out what you can add to a college and learn about the individual colleges. Without this coming out, you’ll blend into the vast numbers of rejected Ivy-wannabee applicants.

Most Ivies do not confer an admissions advantage to early applicants (although the rate is higher because of a better pool).

In any case, as others have said, you shouldn’t apply to a school early just to get in. Apply to your first choice early if anywhere.

No I already know that I want to apply to Brown ED for their awesome neuroscience program - I’m not applying to any other school ED except for Brown even if Cornell or whatever has a higher acceptance rate. Brown is my first choice no matter what. I’m just asking in general which ivy has the greatest ED rate.

Thanks for all your comments!
