ED I Notification

Hey guys, sorry for not responding... something was wrong with my internet. Maybe some of you SCS hopefuls can fix it ;)

Anyway, I actually found out by phone because I had a deadline with UIllinois today, and I needed to know the CMU decision. I was accepted into MCS.

We should be getting our letters tomorrow in the mail, and like Hector said, the online information will soon be up.

Good luck to all of you! Hope to see you there!

-- Naomi

I'm in too!!

I got accepted into MCS. They sent me my decision letter today in the mail and was postmarked December 14th. However, I do live only about 30 minutes outside of Pittsburgh, which explains the rapid speed at which my letter came. So I'm sure your letters will be coming soon! Good luck to you all!! :)

congrats tangalicious! hey we'll be classmates!

:) IM me: ny12187

HELL YEAH!!! I just checked "Where am I?" site and the decision was UP!!!!!

College Choices

^^^ they added this thing.

I'm so happy now! But I still cannot believe it until I see the letter, which still hasnt come.

ahh Congrats to you too!! Nothing's changed on my page...I'm a little worried, maybe I'll call them later or something

Kanagawajin: Congratulations!!

I don't have anything on my page either. not even "Date Document
12-dec-2005 Early Decision Notification".

I got the acceptance letter, ohhh yea! ^_^

I got my SCS acceptance letter today!! What's weird about that is I applied ED Round 2, and I was supposed to get my result in January. I got my application reciept letter and acceptance letter on the same day, the reciept letter dated 12/13 and the admission letter dated 12/14. It's strange, but still pretty sweet becuase I found out a month earlier than I thought. It's still not online, though.

Accepted to MCS, and loving it.

I got in CMU!!!

rejected from scs.

IM me! I'm MCS too! ny12187

rejected from tepper. that's alright.

Congrats to the rest of you!!

wasnt it an awful night njcarpetbagger? I cried for two hours straight, rambling. And it's not going to be pretty on monday, a school day either.

Hey njcarpetbagger and munkeegirl...

If it makes you feel any better, I went to school with the Tepper kids (I live in his town).. and they're complete asswipes. Seriously.

There are a hundred schools of a comparable level without the shi*ty name!

Good luck to you guys, and keep in touch!

-- Naomi

ahh munkeegirl--I cried here and there. I'm disappointed, but I guess it just wasn't the right place for me. Monday will be a horrorshow, that's for sure. I would have posted on the Official ED I thread, but kids from my school browse the boards...

Naomi--hahaha Thanks for the kind words. Best wishes!

Hey I know how you two feel. I got my letter Thursday and it was by far the worse day of my life. My family and friends even cried for me because they knew how much I talked about it since I was younger, and how hard I worked to get in. Now I have absolutely no clue where I would like to go or if I would even want to go anywhere else. So who knows right now. I had to go in the next day into school and everyone was raving about their acceptance letters in English class. It sucked so incredibly bad. My 2 best friends got accepted into their dream schools and it was probably one of the worse feelings.

Ok, you know what? Pride and ego aside, I'm applying to this damn school again. Even if i get rejected twice. H&SS please please please.

haha I just notice this pretty much turned into a rejected students thread.

good for you!

good luck

I got in too (H&SS)

Anyone who wants to chat, I'd love to get to know some of my soon-to-be classmates ;)

Good luck to everyone else that's hearing back!

And sorry to anyone else who was let down :( That really sucks, and I'm really sorry. But hey, there are other good schools out there (obviously) and Carnegie isn't everything in life. At least now you'll have the ability to sleep! (Sorry if I sound rude, not trying to be, just trying to be positive.) I wish you the best with the rest of your process.
