And then it asks what year, right? After I click 2017-18 it tells me… There is no Financial Aid information for the selected year. Award Letter is not available on-line to you at this time.

Just got my acceptance e-mail yesterday! Got in with a 3.2 GPA and 1370 SAT. The letter said my Essay was excellent! So excited to attend AU!

Well, I have an email in to financial aid to ask them why my package isn’t available online. In the meantime, how did you guys do in the financial aid department? Many people say American is stingy with the aid…were you guys happy?
@Swiggles and @Claudia99 – Does the Financial Aid package on myAU list merit scholarships? Or is that information sent with the admissions letter?

My Financial Aid package included a merit scholarship. I’m not sure if that’s only because I didn’t apply for other financial aid.

Does anyone’s letter include merit? I have a letter the financial aid section that only mentions financial aid award with government loans but no merit offer. Is that a separate notice, maybe?

I applied ED II and I still haven’t received any form of email or response yet about my application. Have I been checking the wrong page (http://www.american.edu/admissions/prospective_student_portal.cfm), or am I just not getting accepted to AU? Thanks!
