ED I or II?

I’m going to apply to BU ED, but a few days ago, I got my SAT scores. I expected well over 1300, but I got 1150 (550 math, 600 English, 6 6 6 essay). My stats are up to par - hopefully - except for the SAT score. Should I take the risk, and apply ED I, or redo the SAT and do ED II? This means I’ll have to study for a month - is that even enough?

stats:
EC-
1-music (guitar for 3 yrs)
2-setting up care packages for gazans after wars
3- raising money for orphans/disabled kids and their mothers after war trauma
4- community volunteering, also was in a camp that debated social issues and their solutions
5-visited various refugee camps to raise awareness about their situation and raised money for them
6-programming and coding outside of school
7-French lessons outside of school
8-book clubs and religious groups
9- Scientific researchers
10- lab internship
11- summer camp that prepped me for college, we also tackled on major social injustices and did community work.

These are messily written, but I hope you understand.

My school curriculum - extremely demanding: (most demanding in the country)
I take all three sciences (AP bio, AP phys, AP chem) since 9th grade
Honors English since 9th grade
Arabic Language every year (now level 10)
Advanced math since 9th grade (I’m taking calc 1 now)
Since 9th, I’ve taken AP civics, AP world history, AP american history, AP american gov (12th), Palestinian gov (12th) and AP Economics (12th)
I also take religious and Quranic studies and gym.
this equates to 11 subjects a semester
GPA is 3.8/5

Essays and such-
I’ve had multiple people (English teachers, siblings, etc) check my personal statement and supplementals. I believe it’s up to standard, my recs are also what I trust to be extremely strong.

I live in the Middle East, but I’m an American citizen. My English teacher mentioned to me that my English scores should be high to make up for the fact that Arabic is a predominant language.

Personally, if I were you I would apply ED II and try to bump up my SAT score.

Also, if you apply to CGS you could have a better chance of getting in too

do you mean when they ask you if you want to be considered for CGS? How much of a chance do I have doing that? @lolog123

If you are rejected for your program of choice and you checked the CGS option you will be considered for CGS. CGS has lower admission standards than the other colleges. You may also be admitted to the CGS January-London program.

@TomSrOfBoston how much lower are the standards? And is it easy to transfer from CGS to CAS?

Also - you see my stats. Do you think I can cut it to either?

@Asham98 Well if you’re accepted to CGS, you spend your first two years at BU in CGS and then you can transfer to any other college within BU. The reason I said to apply to CGS is because of your SAT score.

I would apply to ED II and work on the SAT or ACT
