ED II - how do I change my application?

does anyone have advice on how to switch my app to ED II? I submitted it for Regular Decision back in November. I want to switch to ED II, but the Common App won’t let you change supplements! Also my parents are making me wait 1 week to make sure it’s really what I want, so what should I do next Friday? Email them and ask them politely if it’s possible to change? Or call (I usually get a student when I call).

deff call them.

no biggy.

really? you think they'll let me switch?

Yeah. I agree with your parents that you should wait a little while (if only so that admissions dont think it was just a mistake but rather a conscious decision), but so long as your respectful on the phone I don't think they'll be urked.

oh, good. i'm beginning to wish i HADN'T gotten a head start on that application - if I hadn't sent it in yet, I could have never been in this mess! Well, I will be calling them next Friday and hopefully they are understanding about it!

It is not a big problem at all....just call of emaill the admissions office and that is an easy fix for them

I'm hoping for the best!

ahh only 3.5 days until I am allowed to call them! I hope it's not too late but my parents are being SOOOO strict.

Hi all...I am applying to Bowdoin and not submitting my SAT scores...I am really exited about Bowdoin; I took my interview in October and lasted for about an hour (which I think is a good thing?!)...My parents finally agreed to the Maine idea..and I applied for fin. aid which I hope to receive about 60% aid...

I am involved in many activities including 3 President positions and founded the Sustainability Committee. I am also Indian, and I heard that Bowdoin needs diversity. My GPA is 3.5 unweighted-weighted probably 4.0?

do you want us to chance you? If so, I'd say you have a good shot. The founding of the Sustainability comittee should help a lot, if that's really important to you and you show passion for it, that's exactly the kind of thing they love. hope to see you next fall!

alright I am going to be calling tomorrow. Does anyone have any suggestions of what to say, aside from being polite and honest in my request? I don't want to screw it up, I know it sounds so trivial but it does seem to be making trouble for the admissions person.

I am really nervous about Bowdoin ED; I am going to submit the application, however, I am worried about how much fin aid i will get. My sister also has private education and my brother is at top college also.....Isabelle7--do you have a facebook page??
