this communication confirms that your application was received by the Early Response deadline. If the rest of your materials (written responses, transcripts, counselor andacademic teacher recommendations, and test scores) were submitted by the deadline, you will be evaluated for our Early Response program.

Sounds to me like if you didn't get EVERYTHING in by the 1st, you're screwed. Anyone else getting that sense?

Yeah of course. It’s a fact that if you don’t get everything postmarked by November 1st (2nd this year since 1st = Sunday) then you won’t be eligible for early response.

Ahh, I guess I was confused. For some reason, I thought that you could have your application submitted before the 1st and have other components sent later, but the later dates are only for U of M’s consolidation process. Thanks.

Neither did I, a friend of mine got it. I also never got the email confirming ED, despite having everything in well before November 1st. So I wouldn’t worry.
